WHAT I DO TO HELP YOU HELP YOURSELF
I help military veterans and their families with life following the military through psychotherapy, vocational, and career counseling. My areas of expertise include assessment, testing, and short-term psychotherapy to help make adjustments to the lived life.
To help you feel, get, and stay better, short-term psychotherapy with Mikael will include screening(s) and assessments and a personalized treatment plan based on your preferences, interests, needs, and goals. Treatment usually lasts 10 sessions, or less depending on your progress, usually with in person-session and an intake, some remote sessions possible after we get to know each other.
I served in the 313th MASH, 45 Station Hospital, and 396th Combat Support Hospital as a surgical technician (91D) and 5-ton truck Deployable Medical Units trainer (DEPMEDS) during Gulf War I. and now I help military veterans and non-veterans and their families with life following the military through psychotherapy, vocational, and career counseling.
